Andrew has more than 40 years of experience in the building industry, having completed my apprenticeship in Carpentry/Joinery in England in 1981, before emigrating to Australia in 1986. Throughout the years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in both commercial and residential properties, with experience in supervising, property management, building and carpentry. My experience within residential building has been broad and includes building new homes and extending and renovating existing homes. I have a Certificate 4 and Diploma in Building and Construction and am also a Registered Builder within Victoria and Queensland. I have also co-founded a development and construction company that involved purchasing properties to sub divide blocks and build new homes, which also expanded into multi-unit developments. I have decided to invest in a Jim’s franchise business as I am ready for a change that utilizes the knowledge and skills I have gained over the years. In my spare time, I enjoy walking, watching the footy, reading and spending time in nature.
Tanya has 30 years of experience as an architect in the building industry, having completed a Bachelor of Planning and Design and a Bachelor of Architecture both at Melbourne University, before registering as an Architect in Victoria 1995. Throughout the years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in both commercial and residential buildings and development. My experience includes acting as a team leader, drawing, designing, specification writing and project management on a wide range of building types and scale. Over the last 20 years I have focused on designing and delivering residential buildings including extensions, new homes and unit developments. I have decided to invest in a Jim’s franchise business as I am ready for a change that utilizes the knowledge and skills I have gained over the years and allows me to expand into another aspect of the building industry while maintaining my architectural registration. In my spare
time, I enjoy painting, walking and spending time in nature.
