I started my career as an apprentice carpenter at the age of 18 straight after completing my year 12 high school certificate in Lismore, NSW. After finishing my apprenticeship, I went onto completing the Clerk of Works Diploma. I relocated to Brisbane shortly after where I continued to work within the building industry for several with high end building companies.
After obtaining my QBCC building license I started my own boutique building company and established a successful brand over the following 16 years, building a range of projects from domestic renovations to million-dollar family homes, commercial constructions and refurbishments. Each project was run with the same high level of quality and finish in mind with client satisfaction of the utmost importance.
I am now the proud owner and operator of Jim’s Building Inspections – Fernvale, bringing the same level of attention to detail and customer satisfaction.
In my spare time, my family and I run a small family farm in the Brisbane Valley near Fernvale with my wife and three sons, we have a Droughtmaster cattle stud and enjoy breeding and showing our cattle.
